We have had situations where people have stepped into roles held by other partners before. Clearly there was a need for hand over and mostly we favor "on the job" hand over. This means that for a while a partner is energizing a role but often refers to the previous role holder for mentoring. Also we have found mentoring useful from time to time and we use it often in respect to the decision authority.
Is there a way to officially recognize mentoring activities in roles? Do you think this could be a good or bad practice?
Thank you for your help!
