Looking for inspiration on approach to Compensation

Hello everyone!

Our Org currently uses traditional methods for compensation.

We've been using Holacracy for the last couple of months, and I want to explore alternate approaches to Compensation.

I've seen the badge based app, but it's an overkill for us at this stage.

I realize there is no single right way to do this, but I'm looking for inspiration from others.

When you were starting out, what compensation system did you use? How did you evolve your approach to compensation?

Any tips / principles that I should keep in mind when developing our own compensation system?
