In our Facilitator practice group we encountered the following. A Partner has a tension that he needs strategic information from the Super Circle to fulfill the purpose of one of his roles. As the Lead Link is not providing this info the Partner wanted to add an Accountability to the Lead Link that he has to provide transparency around the Strategy.
As Glassfrog, in line with article 2.2.3, does not provide the possibility to add Accountabilities to the Lead Link role we were wondering how to solve this tension.
Our ideas are:
- Bring the tension to Tactical and ask for a metric where the LL will report on the Strategy.
- Ask the Rep Link to bring the tension to the Super Circle and process it there with the Super Circle LL and the Circle LL.
- Address the LL of the Super Circle and ask him to discuss this with the Circle’s LL. (With this solution it is not set in Governance so how can you then safeguard this for the longer term?)
Your insights on how to handle this tension will be much appreciated by us.
